SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
Yup; it was Sunday, Feb. 10 at this years 2008 NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California. As always, My son Michael and I were hanging around Frank Manzo's Top Alcohol Funny Car pit area; one of my hometown drag racing heroes, from Morganville, N.J. I've been following Frank "Ace" Manzo from the mid-70's at Raceway Park, Englishtown, N.J. His nephew Jim Manzo, still is one of my best friends from 1971. Frank and I always manage to talk a bit, when I can catch up with him. He's one of the fastest guys on and off the track.
